Forbearance in a bottle — Shinobu (meaning "forbearance" in Japanese) is a handcrafted blended whisky from Niigata, a region celebrated in Japan for its "Three White" treasures: snow, rice, and sake, and its naturally pure water sources. Master blender Mr. Usami carefully selects whiskies from different distilleries, first reserving them in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks before finishing them in precious Japanese Mizunara oak — one of the rarest and most coveted finishing casks in the whisky world.
