This limited edition release involves aging Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Rye Whiskey first in fresh American white oak barrels, followed by a finishing period in high-toast Heritage Barrels.

Jack Daniel’s Twice Barreled Special Release Heritage Barrel Rye is created with a grain bill consisting of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley. It undergoes charcoal mellowing before spending a minimum of five years in new, handcrafted American white oak barrels. Subsequently, it matures for over two years in specially crafted heavy-toast Heritage Barrels from the Jack Daniel Cooperage, resulting in a complex rye whiskey with a distinctive and richer flavor profile.

This Heritage Barrel Rye Whiskey boasts an enticing aroma characterized by toasted oak, subtle spices, and honey notes. The palate offers a wealth of flavors, including oak and vanilla with hints of toasted rye bread and molasses. The finish is a unique blend of graham cracker and brown sugar, harmoniously balanced by rye and barrel influences.
