Banhez Destilado de Mango is an artisanal, limited-release fruit spirit born from the coastal bounty of Oaxaca, Mexico. Crafted entirely from second-bloom Ataúlfo mangoes, this expression showcases Banhez’s dedication to traditional methods and natural flavor. Wild-fermented for seven days in wooden tinas and double-distilled over an open flame refrescadora still, it carries the soulful character of mezcal-making into a fruit-forward spirit—without any added sugar or flavorings.
This year’s release is the result of a collaboration between four skilled UPADEC Maestros: Eutimio Coronado, Willy Garcia, Manuel Cuevas, and Marcelino Martinez.

Banhez Destilado de Mango is a celebration of terroir, tradition, and the luscious flavor of pure Ataúlfo mangoes—crafted for curious palates seeking bold, natural expressions.
