Matured for six years in French oak ex-wine casks, the spirit has truly concentrated itself and the wine element at this point tastes like something between a port-finished bourbon and wine-finished Bruichladdich, but with spicy and sweet agave notes on the finish. It's expensive, but in comparison to the other top shelf tequila offerings we carry, it's undoubtedly the most satisfying and decadent. It's also the darkest tequila we've ever laid eyes on, yet it's free of any additives or artificial coloring
