Old Forester's Private Select program lets retailers hand-pick a single barrel from the distillery. Each barrel is unique — shaped by its warehouse location, temperature fluctuations, and years of aging. No two are identical.
Upper-floor barrels like Warehouse K, Floor 5 experience greater temperature swings, accelerating oak interaction and developing bolder, more concentrated flavors.
Best neat or with a few drops of water to open up the complexity. A large ice cube also works well for a slower sip.
